An eye for detail is an important quality for an inspection officer. We are absolutely delighted and proud to have a whole team of inspection officers who possess this quality.
On changeover days, it’s incredibly busy for them. Mondays and Fridays are when things really get going. The inspectors ensure that all accommodation is in tip-top condition, that everything is tidy, and that nothing is damaged or broken. All this takes place whilst the property is being cleaned. In addition, they carry out an inventory check and replenish items if, for example, crockery is missing or broken. The outdoor areas are also always checked, ensuring that hot tubs, barbecues and the grounds remain in the best possible condition. Thanks to the inspection rounds carried out at every arrival and departure, the properties remain in top condition for the next guest and the owner.
The 150 properties we manage are inspected at every arrival and departure. Just over half of these are located at the Juliana apartment complex in De Koog. The rest are situated in and around De Koog.
On changeover days, one team is on site at Juliana, whilst the other teams, each in their own coach, are out and about in the surrounding area. Each team has its own ‘district’ and therefore knows these properties inside out, so they know exactly what to look out for. The inspection also ensures that all additional items booked are delivered to the property. For example, bed linen, towels, sauna sets and cots.
So, before the new guests check in, as many as three or four different teams may visit the property. The pre-check, the cleaners, the cleaning check, the technical team if anything needs repairing, and sometimes a final check. Together, we ensure that every detail is taken care of and that all your worries are taken off your hands.
