That’s why we’re proud of our partnership with Bloemrijk Texel, a local initiative by Vincent Lap that promotes biodiversity and floral beauty on the island.

Together, we’ll make Texel even more colourful

As a guest of CountryhouseTexel, you can voluntarily adopt 1 m² of a flower field with every booking. Your contributions help to sow and maintain wildflowers on Texel. A gift for the landscape, the bees, butterflies and other insects.

We also paid a visit to the colourful flower field at Bloemrijk Texel. Standing amongst the flowers, with the buzzing of bees all around us, we heard Vincent’s inspiring story once again. What began as a local idea has now grown into a movement for a greener future on the island. And you can be part of it!

* The opportunity to come and pick a wildflower bouquet from the flower field during your stay
